    While I'm a car guy I really don't much care for Corvette's, but THIS is a cool little car. If you gave me a new Corvette I'd sell it and use the money for my Studebakers, but if I was given one of these I'd drive the you know what out of it! Beautiful little car.

    Ed's work values at zero… is the only way these folks make any money. I think it is almost careless how this show misleads the people
    Ed's work would cost more thn the whole car in most cases

    'The chassis and the body bottom out quite lot…' – who in their right mind buys a car like this to drive along crappy farm track roads in pissing down weather in Wales? It's made for the Stelvio Pass, not Llareggub Lane.

    Aside from all the performance comments about the C7, the car is also much more reliable and a lot less maintenance than both the Porsche and Jaguar. I love Porsche, probably more so than Chevy's Corvette, but the Corvette is a proper car for the normal person looking for great performance, luxury, and reliability (for a supercar). I don't really care about Jaguar cause, half the time the car will probably be in the shop because we all know UK cars break down almost every other drive haha.

    He's probably not too comfortable sitting with the steering wheel on the correct side while the car is on the wrong side of the road and the fact it costs nearly twice as much across the pond.

    Good review, its nice seeing someone be proper honest about the car and not afraid to upset the corvette fanboys who can't take any criticism about the car. Its still a great car and a massive improvement on the previous model but no car is 100% perfect!

    The only reason I buy a Corvette, is because it is cheap and affordable. And the car's built is cheap but hey I can't afford European exotics.
    I drool over my friends GT-Rs, GT3s, Carreras, R8s.
    When I make enough money, I'll get a Carrera S. Its interior exudes fineness, and its flat six at high rpm…phew.

    The fact that people still compare the Corvette to the 911 is probably the best news GM could ever receive.  If you're the sort of person who is looking into purchasing a 60-65K sports car, it isn't likely that you will also be considering a 120-130K sports car.  I understand that the price difference is less of an object in Europe because of shipping and taxes, but even in that scenario, the two cars are still pretty far apart on price.  For an American the Corvette competes with the Boxter/Cayman, which may have a bit more precision when it comes to handling, but in terms of overall performance the two cars are in a completely different league.
